Cheese inspired

I have always wanted to do a cheese tasting inspired trip. Sample chèvre, camembert and livarot throughout France, goat feta in Bulgaria, stilton in England and manchego in Spain. I have also dreamt of an olive oil inspired trip but I will leave this for another entry. Anyways, tonight I found this article, which made me realize that there are other cheese foodies out there.

OF COURSE there are other "cheese nerds" out there, silly girl! :P

Ever considered joining us on a beer-tasting trip across Europe?? :D

Hmmm, that does sound enticing, perhaps we can throw a wine tour in there? Maybe after Saskatoon (actually definatelly after) I will be in need of some European landscapes.

PS. This is on a cheese note. Do you ever go to the cheese tastings at Les Amis du Fromage? They fill up fast but it is so much fun. They even pair the cheeses with the wines from the same region.

You know, I've never gone to a cheese tasting there ... I can only imagine how great the cheese/wine pairings would be though!

That reminds me, I still need to swing by Les Amis du Fromage to see if they have a lovely little cheese made with Chimay beer in stock ...
