What a great question, Marusya. The lines between the show and SJP's reality seem blurred but I tend to lean to the argument that the film is advertizing her.
Crissy, I can not belive you have never seen the show, how did you escape it? It was my guilty pleasure but I only started watching it while recovering from tonsillitis one summer. It seemed the only thing that would take the pain away besides antibiotics was Carrie's flashy fashion and fluffy philosophical ramblings. And ice cream.

Is SJP advertising the film, or is the film advertising SJP???
I think I may be the only female on the planet who has never seen an episode this show ... and honestly, I never want to! :)
